Key process of the tomato paste processing line

1. Discharge platform
When fresh tomatoes arrive, it will often be very difficult to unload them with people in large trucks. Therefore, we designed the unloading platform to unload the fresh fruit/tomatoes from the truck using water guns and convey the fresh fruit/tomatoes to the processing line with water. There is another function of the discharge platform. Fresh fruit/tomatoes can be pre-washed before processing.
2. Elevator
This machine is used to delivery fresh fruit from outside the building to inside.
3. Washing
Fresh fruit must be carefully washed before crushing. For washing, we can use a foam washer along with a spray washer. If cleaning requirements are high, more cleaning steps can be added. In addition, ultrasonic cleaning and ozone cleaning can be added to obtain better cleaning effect.
4. Sorting
After washing, the surface of the fruit is clean, we can check the situation of all the fruit by human eye, and sort out the bad tomatoes by human.
5. Crushing for tomato processing
GFM-FC series crushers have the most advanced working principle, higher manufacturing precision and best crushing capacity. Mainly used for grinding a variety of fruits or vegetables, such as tomatoes, apples, pears, strawberries, celery, etc. The raw materials can be pulverized into small particles to increase the working effect of the next processing section. The machine consists of feeding hopper, side cover, frame, main shaft, bearing seat, motor, motor structure, discharge hopper, etc.
6. Preheating
The pre-heater is used to heat the product after crusher, the temperature is adjustable, normally from 45℃ to 85℃. This processing step, would help to higher the juice rate for next step, and also can protect the color and taste of the final product.
7. Pulper and refiner
The machine also runs at 1470 r/min, creating centrifugal force that helps the product pass through the screen for purification. Usually we use a double stage of pulper and refiner. The screens of each level are different. The first stage has a larger screen and the second stage has a smaller screen. The tomato pulp output of the two-stage beater can reach 90%~95%. After pulping, the tomato skin and seeds are separated from the tomato pulp. The machine has a large workload and stable performance. Easy to operate and replace the screen. Suitable for passion fruit, tomato, peach, apricot, mango, apple and other fruits.
8. Evaporating
Vacuum evaporators are used to thicken ketchup under vacuum and at low temperatures. A forced circulation vacuum evaporator is used here. Because it is sous vide, the taste and nutrition are protected as much as possible. Now, we will evaporate the water from the tomato pulp and get the tomato paste. Typical Brix levels are 28-30% and 36-38%.
9. Sterilizing
For ketchup, we use a tube-in-tube sterilizer for sterilization. Sterilization temperature and holding time can be adjusted. With this machine, we keep the ketchup at a high temperature of about 115°C for 30 seconds, then immediately cool down to ambient temperature. In this way, the test and nutrition of the ketchup are protected to the greatest extent possible. The whole system adopts programmable control. The operating system adopts an image man-machine interface, which is convenient to intuitively understand the running status of each component of the equipment.
10. Aseptic Filling
The aseptic filling machine works with the tubes of the tubular sterilizer. This is a closed loop. Before production, the cycle is fully sterilized to ensure a sterile environment. In addition, the filling space is protected by steam to ensure that the filling environment is also sterile. Security - Provides multiple security methods. Mirror welding technology is adopted to ensure clean and smooth welds. Separate control panel. CIP and automatic SIP for sterilizers. Easy to adapt to sterile bags of different volumes and sizes.
11. Storage or go blending
