Key process of the tomato paste processing line

1. Discharge platform
When fresh tomatoes come, it's usually a heavy truck that's hard to drain with humans. So we designed an unloading platform that uses water guns to discharge fresh fruit/tomatoes from the truck, and then uses water to deliver the fresh fruit/tomatoes to the processing line. In addition, the unloading platform has another function that allows you to pre-wash fresh fruit/tomatoes before processing.
This machine is used to delivery fresh fruit from outside the building to inside.
Fresh fruit should be washed carefully before crushing. For cleaning, you can use both a foam washer and a brush and spray washer. If cleaning requirements are high, the number of cleaning stages can be increased. In addition, ultrasonic cleaning and ozone cleaning can be added to enhance the cleaning effect.
After washing, the surface of the fruit is clean, we can check the situation of all the fruit by human eye, and sort out the bad tomatoes by human.
5. Crushing for tomato processing
GFM-FC series crusher has the most advanced working principle, higher manufacturing precision and best crushing function. Mainly used for grinding tomatoes, apples, pears, strawberries, celery and other fruits and vegetables. The raw materials can be pulverized into small particles to enhance the working effect of the next processing section. The machine consists of feeding hopper, side cover, frame, main shaft, bearing seat, motor, motor structure, outlet hopper, etc.
The pre-heater is used to heat the product after crusher, the temperature is adjustable, normally from 45℃ to 85℃. This processing step, would help to higher the juice rate for next step, and also can protect the color and taste of the final product.
7. Pulper and refiner
This machine is also running with speed of 1470 r/min, it causes the centrifugal force and the product will go through screen, helps to refine the product.Usually we use a double stage of pulper and refiner. The screens in each stage are different: the first stage has a larger screen, and the second stage has a smaller screen. The tomato pulp output rate of the two-stage beater can reach 90%-95%. After pulping, the tomato skin and seeds are separated from the tomato pulp. The machine has large running capacity and stable performance;Easy to be operated and change sieves; Suitable for many different kinds of fruits that are including the passion fruit, tomato, peach, apricot, mango, apple and etc.;
Vacuum Evaporator is used for concentrating the tomato paste under vacuum and low temperature. Here we are using Forced Circulation Vacuum Evaporator. Because it’s under vacuum and low temperature, so the tastes and nutrients would be protected as much as possible. And right now, we evaporate the water from the tomato pulp, then we will get the tomato paste, normally the Brix is 28-30% and 36-38%.
Tomato paste uses a tube-in-tube sterilizer. Sterilization temperature and retention time are adjustable. The machine holds the ketchup at a high temperature of about 115°C for 30 seconds, then immediately cools it to ambient temperature. This way, ketchup can also be experimented with to preserve nutrients as much as possible. The whole system adopts programmable control. The operating system adopts an image man-machine interface, which is convenient for intuitively grasping the running status of each component of the equipment.
10. Aseptic Filling
The aseptic filling machine works together with the tube in tube type sterilizer. It’s a closed cycle. Before production, the cycle will be fully sterilized to make sure the aseptic environment. And the filling cavity is also protected by steam to make sure the filling environment is also aseptic. Safety - providing several security methods.
