Key process of the tomato paste processing line
Now Shanghai Gofun machinery company will introduce the information of tomato paste processing line to show it works.
1. Discharge platform
When fresh tomatoes arrive, they are usually unloaded by large trucks, but unloading them manually is a big deal. So, we design a discharge platform, use water guns to discharge the fresh fruits/tomatoes from the truck, and use water to deliver the fresh fruits/tomatoes to the processing line.
2. Elevator
This machine is used to delivery fresh fruit from outside the building to inside.
3. Washing
Before crushing, fresh fruit should be washed carefully. For cleaning, a bubble washer and a spray washer can be used together. Additional stages of cleaning can be added if cleaning requirements are high.
4. Sorting
After washing, the surface of the fruit is clean, we can check the situation of all the fruit by human eye, and sort out the bad tomatoes by human.
5. Crushing for tomato processing
GFM-FC series crushers have the most advanced working principle, higher manufacturing precision and best crushing capability. It is mainly used for crushing many kinds of fruits and vegetables, and can crush raw materials into small particles, which can enhance the working effect of the next processing section.
6. Preheating
The pre-heater is used to heat the product after crusher, the temperature is adjustable, normally from 45℃ to 85℃.
7. Pulper and refiner
This machine also runs at a speed of 1470 r/min, which creates centrifugal force to force the product through the screen, helping to purify the product. I usually use his two stages, Pulper and Refiner, but the screens for each stage are different. The first stage makes the screen bigger, the second stage makes the screen smaller. Double stage pulping machine for tomato pulp yield can reach 90%~95%.
8. Evaporating
Vacuum evaporator is used to concentrate tomato paste under vacuum and low temperature. A forced circulation vacuum evaporator is used here. Because it is done in a vacuum and at a low temperature, the taste and nutrients are not lost as much as possible. And now we evaporate the water from the tomato pulp to make tomato paste. Brix is typically 28-30% and 36-38%.
9. Sterilizing
A tube-in-tube type sterilizer is used to sterilize tomato paste. Sterilization temperature and holding time are adjustable. This machine is used to heat tomato paste to a very high temperature of about 115°C, hold for 30 seconds, and then quickly cool to ambient temperature. It can also protect as long as the whole system adopts programmable control. The operation system uses an image man-machine interface that is convenient for intuitively grasping the operation status of each part of the device.
10. Aseptic Filling
The aseptic filling machine works together with the tube in tube type sterilizer. It’s a closed cycle. Before production, the cycle will be fully sterilized to make sure the aseptic environment. And the filling cavity is also protected by steam to make sure the filling environment is also aseptic. Safety - providing several security methods.
