Product description of tomato processing plant
The tomato processing line is a comprehensive system designed to transform fresh tomatoes into a variety of popular products, such as tomato paste, tomato sauce, ketchup, and tomato juice. The line includes several key components that work together seamlessly to produce the final products.
The process begins with the fresh tomato receiving system, where the tomatoes are collected and inspected for quality. The tomatoes then go through a thorough washing system to remove any dirt or impurities. Next, a sorting system is employed to separate the tomatoes based on size, color, and ripeness, ensuring only high-quality ones proceed to the next stage.
Once sorted, the tomatoes are crushed and pulped to extract the juice and pulp. This step is carried out in the crushing system, which effectively breaks down the tomatoes into a homogeneous mixture. The resulting mixture undergoes further refining and is passed through a filtration system to remove any remaining solids or seeds, resulting in a smooth and consistent tomato base.
The tomato base is then concentrated through a concentration system to reduce its water content and intensify the flavor. Afterward, the concentrated tomato base goes through a sterilizing system to ensure its safety and extend its shelf life. This step is crucial for producing aseptic products that can be stored without refrigeration.
Finally, the aseptic filling system fills the sterilized tomato products into sterile bags, which are then packaged in drums. This packaging method helps maintain the product's quality and allows for easy transportation and storage. The aseptic bag in drums containing the final tomato paste or other products is ready for distribution and use in various culinary applications.
