For large-scale tomato processors supplying international markets, production efficiency and product consistency are non-negotiable. Our industrial tomato paste manufacturing plant is engineered for high-volume continuous operation—processing 30 to 1,500 tons of fresh tomatoes per day, depending on configuration. This fully automated system delivers commercial-grade tomato paste at 28–38% Brix, ready for aseptic bag filling, canning, or further formulation into ketchup and sauces.

The plant is designed for 24/7 operation during the tomato harvest season, with robust components that withstand the continuous demands of industrial processing. Fresh tomatoes are received via flume channels or hoppers, then elevated by bucket elevators into a multi-stage bubble washing system that removes field debris and sand. Optical sorters or manual inspection stations ensure only premium fruit enters the processing stream, minimizing the risk of off-flavors or color defects.

The critical preheating stage uses a tubular preheater to inactivate pectin-degrading enzymes—either hot-break for high-viscosity paste or cold-break for premium color and flavor. A twin-stage pulping and refining system separates the liquid from skins and seeds, achieving over 95% pulp conversion efficiency. The clarified tomato juice then moves to a multi-effect forced-circulation vacuum evaporator, which operates under vacuum at 55–60°C to remove water without scorching or degrading the product. This low-temperature evaporation preserves heat-sensitive nutrients and natural tomato color, delivering premium-quality paste for export markets.

Sterilization is performed in a tube-in-tube sterilizer with auto-backtrack functionality—if the sterilization temperature drops below the set point, the product is automatically redirected for reprocessing. The aseptic filling station supports multiple packaging formats: 220L aseptic bags in steel drums, tin cans (70g to 4500g), glass jars, sachets, or PET bottles. An integrated CIP system automatically cleans all pipelines and equipment after each production batch, reducing downtime and ensuring hygiene.

All components are fabricated from SUS304 stainless steel, with optional SUS316L for acidic product contact surfaces. The PLC control system manages temperature, pressure, vacuum level, Brix concentration, and cleaning cycles—enabling a single operator to supervise the entire process from a central control room. The plant is CE certified and designed in compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards.
